When you know….you know

I have been single for a while now. I have been told that my choice to be single is down to a fear of being hurt, however, they could not be more wrong. I came to the conclusion that in order for me to be in a stable and loving relationship, I would first have to work on myself, love myself and become the strong woman I was prior to my last relationship. Actually…. scratch that last one, I intend to use my past experiences to become stronger than I ever was (emotionally and mentally) whilst continuing to hold on to my positive nature.

Yes, I would love to be in a relationship but on my own terms, when I believe I am ready and I refuse to live according to popular belief.

I’m not in desperate need of a man and refuse to go out there on the prowl as that is not who i am. I am positive that in time, someone WILL enter my life and build on what I have already built within myself. I have decided to let nature take its course.

When it is time, it is time.

It’s ok to take time out of your life to work on yourself for yourself. In doing so, you will gain confidence and learn not to dwell on the past but look to the future with a smile on your face. Things will happen when they happen…. don’t force it. Trust your gut…only YOU know when the time is right no-one else. Positivity is key…not desperation.

Plus… desperation is so unattractive.Love-yourself-first-quote
